STATE ACCREDITATIONS
Our school, Centro Lingua Italiana Calvino, is officially authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education. The high quality standards and the smooth function of the school are also monitored and certified by the Italian Certification Authority UNITER.
In Germany it is recognized by the Federal States for courses of Bildungsurlaub und Weiterbildung.
In Sweden the courses are accredited by CSN as part of the financial development programs for students.
CERTIFICATES
In accordance with the sort and duration of your course all students will receive the Attendance Certificate, the Certificate of Knowledge of Italian Language or the Diploma in Italian upon completion of the course. CLIC is authorized to prepare students for the CILS-Certificato Italiano Lingua Seconda, issued by the University of Siena.
Upon completion of the course all students will receive the Attendance Certificate that describes the type and duration of the course. Students who have taken courses lasting at least 8 weeks (12 weeks with obligatory attendance for those starting as absolute beginners) may receive, upon request, the Certificate of Knowledge of Italian Language indicating the grade obtained on the school's final exam.
Course attendance for at least 24 weeks grants the right to a Diploma in Italian. CLIC is authorized to prepare students for the CILS-Certificato Italiano Lingua Seconda, issued by the University of Siena, which is held twice a year, normally in June and December.
MEMBERSHIPS
CLIC is member of Associazione Scuole Italiano Lingua Seconda – ASILS.
Membership in ASILS guarantees:
- The teachers are university graduates, have experience in the specific field, and are chosen for their professionalism and personal qualities.
- The school is an established, licensed, permanent center where language lessons take place. The building meets legal and safety requirements.
- The prospectus published by the school contains a detailed description of the courses and services offered.
- Prices are clearly indicated for the courses. The number of lessons, duration, and services included are specified.
- Should students need help finding a place to stay, carefully selected accommodation will be offered, according to student needs.
- Students are assigned to a class based on their language level which is determined by a placement test.
- The number of students in class does not exceed the maximum number set by the school.
- There is always a director of the school at the students’ disposal, to resolve any problems that may arise.
- Student progress is continuously monitored.
CLIC is the representative in Italy of Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS schools that teach a language in a country in which it is spoken. This makes the country, the city and its people an important part of the concept!
